A nursery department for 3 to 4 year olds, which opened in April 1994, consolidated the full primary range, which the school now serves. The Reception and Nursery Class provide the Foundation Stage at Ashbrooke House School.

The School is a Registered Provider of places for Early Years Funding operated by North Somerset Council. Successful inspections have been held in recent years.
