There were many surprises to the recent PTA fund raising  ‘Fill a Film Canister Competition’.

The biggest surprise was the amount of objects our winners managed to get in a film canister.

In lower school Jasmine Bell won with 110 items and in upper school Oliver Fuller crammed an AMAZING 166 items in.

Each received a goodie bag of prizes and all the children who took part  received some sweets.

Some of the items included in the canisters also gave the PTA some surprises such as rabbit fur, an ant, a finger nail clipping, air and a pink circle.

A BIG thank you and congratulations to all who took part and help raise the wonderful amount of £800.17.

Thank you to all those who helped raise PTA funds by using Northbrook Gift Wrap this year.

We raised £ 63.36 and our thanks must go Lin Bell and team who have put a great deal of time into co-ordinating this ‘fund raising service’.

In the last PTA newsletter there was a tear off strip where we invited ideas of how to spend any money we raise this term. There was a disappointing response ,however two ideas put forward are in hand.

Firstly we are buying a PA system to be used at PTA and school events such as Carols by Candlelight, Sports Day and the Summer Fete which is costing approximately £600.
